And with the guidance of our strategy wizards, you'll conjure up spellbinding media plans that resonate with our desired audiences; eventually placing those media buys and getting them out in the real world in front of our target audience. You’ll be the keeper of the details, from specs to reporting, from weighing up all the options to fine-tuning budgets to keeping an eagle eye on performance. And guess what? What you’ll do:

  • Performance marketing gurus will educate you on how to develop strategic media plans that meet client goals. Then you’ll execute, monitor, and optimize those plans, traditional, digital and the media world in between.
  • Negotiate ad space with various media outlets.
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and media partners, including those involved in the meetings and conventions space. Being able to quickly learn, coordinate and effectively communicate all aspects of media buying, but in particular, for social events, meetings, conferences and more.
  • Maintain client facing media plans, specifications, calendars, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely reporting to clients.
  • Maintain and monitor client budgets related to those media plans being purchased.

What you’ll bring:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of media buying and/or planning experience.
  • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail while having a passion for collaboration and intellectual curiosity of business challenges.
  • Ability to be able to interpret and explain data.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Desire to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • While some degree of traditional media buying experience is preferred (local spot/radio buying, out of home, etc.) it is not required.
  • Master the ability to foresee how your plans impact other teams, comprehend their needs, and recognize how your purchases will influence future outcomes beyond just in the paid media space.

Software Experience Required:

  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.

Software Experience Desired:

  • Experience with media planning and/or buying tools (Freewheel (formerly Strata), MRI/Telmar, Vivvix (Kantar), Flashtalking, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
  • Monday.com
