Morningstar Properties is seeking a Leasing Specialist who is dedicated to providing the very best customer experiences at our newly developed high-rise multi-family housing community, Foster Flats. Foster Flats offers private rooms and full apartments that include amenities such as community lounges on each floor, a bookable kitchen, and a large gathering and co-working space complete with an outdoor patio and views of the Charlotte skyline.

Morningstar has been developing and acquiring state-of-the-art storage and marina facilities since 1981. Now with more than 100 storage properties and marinas throughout the US, we are adding this exceptional community in the heart of South End!

Who Were Looking For:

A full-time Leasing Specialist for our Charlotte Multi Family Community: a people-person and team player who loves selling, solving problems and organizing, well, everything. Some might call you an overachiever, but you just know how to get things done quickly with quality. Were looking for our second-in-command who can listen, learn, and sell alongside our Property Manager to make sure every member of the team is operating toward the same goal of superior customer experience.

What Youll Do:

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build relationships.
• Schedule and tour customers through our brand new, state-of-the-art, apartments.
• Follow up with all leads, schedule and conduct tours, and complete applications all with the goal of leasing the best housing solution.
• Create organized workflows and knock-out checklists.
• Creating and executing local marketing plans to attract leads directly to the property.
• Determine priority of vacant rooms based on a number of competing objectives.
• Continually learn, with leadership from your Property Manager and guidance from our company-wide team.
• Support the team in maintaining an industry-leading, great-looking and well-maintained property.
• Conduct final inspections and cleanings of apartments/rooms.
• Execute the lease renewal process.

What You Need:

• Curiosity, creativity, optimism & organization.
• 2 years of sales experience
• Independent, self-driven, and engaging.
• Able to demonstrate a consultative selling style and can tailor our value to respond to the customers objections.
• Computer savvy (Microsoft Office Suite, email, Funnel Product Suite etc.).
• Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.
• High School diploma or GED, associates, or bachelors degree is always a plus.

Physical Demands Required:

• Ability to move freely throughout the property multiple times a day.
• Ability to climb up a ladder.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
