The Bailiff will be responsible for overall proper courtroom security and order. The Bailiff will also assist with service of process. Bailiffs are responsible for maintaining security of the entrances and the entire Judicial Center space. Bailiffs maintain security and decorum during various types of court hearings and trials. Respond to all emergencies on the judicial center campus and with emergency evacuations of the judicial center. A bailiff will be cross trained and assist with civil duties when necessary. Grant-funded position with initial duration of 12 months anticipated (30 hours per week).
