The Mockingbird, a moder diner with global twists on comfort food, is looking for a sous chef for a full-time role. Day-to-day responsibilities include ordering of ingredients and restaurant supplies, teaching and supporting the line team, assisting in organizing and executing private events, and making sure each dish leaving the kitchen is up to par. Our dining room serves up to 200 guests in a service, so understanding of organization and time management is key.
Frequent changes and specials allow all of our culinary team to influence dishes on the menu. This role will also work closely with Chef Brian Riggenbach, developing dishes that resonate with the seasonal availability and global fare that we have become known for.
Health insurance is available to all full-time employees with company contribution, as is two (2) weeks paid time off. Quarterly bonuses are paid out as a percentage of profit sharing and relevant goals met. Daily meals are 100% comped, in addition you and a guest can dine at anyy of our concepts once a pay period and 100% of your food bill is comped.
