As an Entry-Level Buyer supporting manufacturing activities at LOR, you will be an integral part of our Supply Chain Services team, working closely with Sales and Operations across the organization. While your primary responsibilities will include daily buying requirements and supporting customer-driven demand, you will also have the opportunity to work on analytical projects that contribute to our overall success. You will report directly to Timothy Cox.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform daily buying requirements for stock purchases and customer driven demand.
· Analyze reports to ensure purchase order accuracy and on-time delivery.
· Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding all supply chain functions.
· Collaborate with management and production team regarding supplier orders and quotes.
· Follow and improve upon existing work processes.
· Contribute to project-based work aimed at identifying cost improvements, stocking opportunities, and workflow enhancements.
· Manage supplier records and documentation
· Effectively utilize internet resources (requires toggling between systems) to obtain information
· Able to investigate and understand the workflow and system-generated recommendations
· Other duties as required.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
· Purchasing or inventory experience
· Experience in industrial production or a technical field a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to perform analytics.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office; proficient with Excel.
· Strong internet research skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
· Desire to contribute to the growth of the company and career.
· Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO) preferred
