Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate care to our clients. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support.

Duties:

- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients

Requirements:

- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatric care (PICU), surgical patients (OR), hospital medicine, inpatient care, trauma patients (Level I Trauma Center), medical-surgical patients, teaching hospital environment, outpatient care, and emergency medicine settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
