Role Overview
Our client seeks a Director of Development to help the company meet its project development goals. The successful candidate will be able to provide key contributions to company strategy & project implementation as well as work cohesively with internal & external stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Spearhead energy storage project development
- Lead efforts to select project locations & support with due diligence
- Create strategic plans to meet company goals
- Manage due diligence & other initiatives related to acquisitions
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Oversee departmental finances & staff
- Manage project schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
- Energy project development experience, ideally within energy storage
- Ability to resolve issues effectively & efficiently
- Strong analytical & organizational skills
- High level of emotional intelligence & ability to work well with a variety of staff
- Exceptional communication skills
- Self-driven, adaptable & motivated to succeed
- Experienced in project management
