PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONResponsible for dismantling, erecting, assembling, aligning, adjusting, and/or maintaining machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.RESPONSIBILITIESA. Receiving and offloading all major componentsB. Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparationC. Connecting blades to hubD. Setting base and tower sectionsE. Managing taglinesF. Involved with main erection crane assembly and teardownG. Climbing ladders – average 80mH. Drilling and/or tapping of all holes on turbines, generators, compressors, and pumpsI. Torqueing/tensioning any bolted connectionQUALIFICATIONSA. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsB. Strong teamwork orientationC. Positive attitude and professional customer service skillsD. Detail orientedEducation and Experience RequirementsA. High School Diploma or GEDB. 1 year of related experience preferredC.
