Mosaic CCDA is Hiring a Community Resource Specialist Near Benton, MI

Job Summary:

Mosaic CCDA is looking for a passionate and strategic leader to join the Transformation Center Team.

The Resource Specialist will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining relationships with the community, volunteers, managing communications, and supporting event coordination. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure the effective coordination of resources, community outreach and volunteer efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, community partners, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Volunteer Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard new volunteers, ensuring they are well-informed and adequately prepared for their roles.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for Mosaic,answering calls, emails and providing timely and communication.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring all resources are managed efficiently and effectively to support successful outcomes.
  • Resource Management: Maintain and organize volunteer records, schedules, and other relevant data Compliance: Ensure all volunteer activities are compliant with local and national regulations and best practices.
  • Work with staff to maintain the physical appearance of the store, office, etc.

Qualifications.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Degree in Human Services, Business or a related combination of training, education and work experience
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead programs and training.
  • A passion for Mosaic CCDA's mission and growth.
  • Proven experience in volunteer coordination, event management, or community engagement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and network with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage resources effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
