**Assistant Property Manager**
**Job Overview: **
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property operations, with a focus on leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of property management practices.
**Responsibilities: **
- Assist the Property Manager in initiating and managing all core business activities
- Greet prospective residents, qualify leads, conduct feature/benefit selling, process lease applications, verify applicant information, and communicate results
- Ensure the office is opened on schedule and maintain cleanliness of the office and model apartments
- Process daily activities such as leads, leases, move-ins, renewals, notices, move-outs, rental payments, bank deposits, delinquency collection, and resident inquiries
- Handle resident service requests promptly and accurately, coordinating with maintenance for timely resolution and conducting follow-ups with residents
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries in a professional manner
- Conduct physical property inspections, report maintenance needs to the maintenance team, and maintain cleanliness of the grounds
- Stay informed about industry trends and collaborate with supervisors to develop strategies to achieve operational goals
**Skills:**
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks
- Experience in file management
- Strong data entry skills
- Familiarity with facilities management practices
- Previous experience in property leasing
- Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Sales skills for promoting property features and closing deals
**Qualifications:**
The ideal candidate should possess superior customer service skills, a positive attitude towards problem-solving, flexibility to work weekends as needed, experience with renovation projects is a plus. Bilingual proficiency is advantageous. Previous experience with OneSite and Knock systems is desirable.
