We are a first-to-market SaaS startup based in New York City focused on enhancing outdated Excel-based workflows in private equity, private credit, investment banking, and corporate development. Mosaic’s software enables deal makers to conduct financial analysis on new investment opportunities more quickly, accurately, and completely than ever before – giving them an ‘edge’ over competing investors.
Over our 3 years in operation, Mosaic has built the private equity industry’s first deal model automation platform and sold it to some of the largest private equity firms, pension plans, and corporate development teams in the world. Our existing customer base includes firms such as CVC, Warburg Pincus, New Mountain Capital, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and more – who collectively manage nearly a trillion USD in assets.
For 40 years, private equity has had a truly epic run of success – helped significantly in recent decades by (i) very low interest rates and (ii) ever-expanding exit multiples (valuations). As a result, some private equity firms have overlooked the opportunity to improve internal processes and leverage technology to the same extent as other professional industries have. In today’s private equity market, neither of (i) or (ii) above are true anymore. The time for change is now.
Your Role:
This is a unique opportunity to bring modern, purpose-built technology to a massive industry that is still using generic software from the ‘80s (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook) to power multi-billion-dollar investment decisions. You will be selling against zero competitors (for now) other than status quo, inertia, and the occasional “we’ve always done it this way…” mindset.
As an Account Executive at Mosaic, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to exceed sales targets.

This is a chance to be a part of a highly motivated, energetic, and growing sales team at Mosaic – working alongside a focused team of experienced go-to-market professionals in our midtown Manhattan headquarters, reporting directly to the CEO.
You will also interact closely with our rockstar engineering team who truly embrace a continuous improvement mindset and are hungry for the feedback you will be receiving on the frontlines with our customers.
Our sales team is expected to work from our Manhattan headquarters or be out with customers – this is not a work from home position. We want our team to be “all-in” when they’re working and fully unplugged when they’re not (see unlimited PTO policy below).
