Mosaic is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near New York, NY

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a startup pursuing a world-changing mission and growing over 400% year over year. Mosaic is AI-Powered workforce management software that radically changes how companies connect, manage, and understand their workforce. Our mission is to prevent burnout and help employees work on projects they love in a remote/hybrid world. 

We are looking for an ambitious BDR who doesn’t take no for an answer. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of building out our sales development team and driving our outbound sales motion, putting your experience in fast forward, significantly advancing the rest of your career. At Mosaic, you’ll master your pitch and prospect into industry-leading firms with a modern, unmatched product and successfully manage and overcome any sales objections. This role is unique because you’ll be supporting our expansion into additional industry verticals. You’ll work closely with our VP of Sales to build our pipeline by setting up qualified meetings across industries including Digital Agencies, Software Developers, Consultants, and Startups. The work you do in understanding these verticals will have a critical impact on your success and Mosaic.

Requirements:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the way businesses in various industry verticals operate
  • Become an expert in our space, and are able to confidently educate Owners, Executives, other decision makers why getting the visibility Mosaic offers is critical
  • Create, update and maintain point of view documents on every target prospective account
  • Partner with the Sales and Marketing teams to target the right accounts, manage opportunities, and drive pipeline and revenue goals
  • Craft and deliver world-class cold calls and personalized messages
  • Achieve qualified meeting and opportunity goals with sales executives and sales operations professionals by converting inbound leads and generating leads from targeted account prospecting
  • Team with Marketing to run data-driven lead nurturing campaigns
  • Document all prospect interaction in Salesforce to ensure effective lead management
  • Prospect leads through carefully crafted email campaigns and cold calls
  • Working closely with marketing to develop, test and execute campaigns to drive demand while also determining how best to scale them

Responsibilities:

  • Identify market segments and generate strong leads
  • Book and oversee product demonstrations including the preparation of marketing materials and presentations
  • Monthly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Consistently achieve your activity metrics and over achieve your goals

Requirements:

  • 1 - 5 years of professional sales experience, 1 in SaaS software
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Competitive, self-managed 
  • Strong emotional intelligence skills
  • High-octane energy, fully caffeinated
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
