Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test a torpedo tube deployment system capable of launching payloads from a submarine platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Advanced proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects with successful outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
- meet ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.100 standards; Experience performing structural and thermal analyses to meet submarine environmental requirements.
