POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' Manager of Field Safety Training is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, assessing, and partnering with key stakeholders to deliver effective safety training materials to the field while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate environmental, health, and safety regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures employees are well educated in safe practices by partnering with Field Safety Team and operational business partners
• Builds positive relationships with field functional leaders, promotes open, honest, communication for training needs and delivery
• Performs training needs analyses to understand training requirements and proposes training solutions to meet learning needs, including train-the-trainer, instructor-led and online training content
• Coordinates third-party training experts when needed to supplement internal training resources and capabilities
• Develops and maintains proactive Safety training schedule and standardized approach to learning
• Supports all safety operations and project teams by providing relevant and prioritized training tools in alignment with Safety policies
• Understand and incorporate Moss environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures into training curriculum
• Assists in the development, delivery and documentation of Safety training as needed
• Communicates Safety training reports based on established metrics
• Supervise, support and coach a team of safety training specialists
• Up to 50% travel requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Occupational Health and Safety or similar or related discipline required
• BCSP CSP, CHST, CIT certification or similar
• Minimum 7 years of direct safety & health experience, including managing safety training programs
• Proven experience in managing, developing, and setting up projects related to training programs and education environments
• Broad occupational safety, health and experience, and familiarization with environmental regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office, familiarity with Safety Management Software and Learning Management Software
