Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
Motel 6 9214 is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Pueblo, CO area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities within the company’s corporate headquarters located in Pueblo, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, painting, and carpentry with a desire to expand their skills as a maintenance technician.
Essential Functions:
·Perform routine maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
·Conduct routine inspections of all buildings and grounds to identify needed repairs or replacements and prepare detailed estimates of cost.
·Complete preventative maintenance on all building systems and perform minor repairs as needed.
·Coordinate with other departments to ensure that building systems are in good working order.
·Prepare and submit reports on the performance of building systems and building maintenance needs.
·Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or GED required; AA Degree preferred.
·3-5 years of related experience preferred; construction, painting, carpentry or similar field required.
·Must have own tools and be able to use power tools (drill, saw, hammer, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work at ceiling heights and work in tight spaces.
·Must have good communication skills and be able to coordinate with others.
·Able to pass a background check & drug test.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
