Job Description:

As the Assistant Head Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our rooms and common areas. You will assist the Head Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily cleaning operations, training new staff, inspecting rooms, and addressing any issues related to housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.

- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.

- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet Motel 6 cleanliness standards.

- Coordinate with the front desk to prioritize room cleaning for guest arrivals and departures.

- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a prompt and courteous manner.

- Assist in inventory management, including doing inventory and stocking cleaning supplies and linens.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as needed.

- Bilingual Preferred
