Job Duties
- Lead the branch sales support team responsible for providing retail and service to local market
- Assist in servicing customers through familiarity and knowledge of products
- Ensure customer service is a focal point of every interaction
- Full responsibility for hiring, building, training, and evaluating the branch team, as well as driving accountability
- Work closely with the outside sales group to develop and grow the business
- Work with other Branch Managers to share knowledge, identify best practices, and cultivate opportunities to grow
- Analyze inventory for opportunities to increase turns and grow sales
- Prioritize tasks, coordinate work flow, and shift resources as necessary to support customers
- Identify training needs of the team and coordinate as necessary
- Set goals and track measures across the team
- Responsible for maintaining audit and inventory performance at branch
- Monitor and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
- Implement and ensure all safety guidelines are followed
- Maintain key relationships with other internal managers
- HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Prior supervisory/management experience
- Ability to train and effectively build a team
- Meet deadlines and manage time effectively
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Mechanical/technical aptitude
- Knowledge of different hoses and thread configurations a plus
- Industrial sales experience a plus
- Basic hydraulic knowledge a plus
- Epicor P21 experience a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- May be required to be on-call on nights or weekends, depending on need.
