Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)

Job Type: Part-time (Mon-Fri; 29 hours or less per week. Ideally 20 hours per week Mon-Thurs 2pm-7pm. We are looking for afternoon/evening coverage for our patients and families needing after-work/school appointments. Some flexiblity; Monday/Thursday 2pm-7pm and Tuesday/Thursday 2pm-6pm [18 hours per week]. Open to further discussing schedule during interview.)

Job Locations: 645 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park, MD (Anne Arundel County; outpatient clinic)

Hourly Range: $50.00 - $60.00 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) responsibilities include ...

• Assisting in the assessment, treatment, and implementation of patient care.
• Evaluating patients with disorders of articulation, language, fluency, voice, and cognition.
• Developing treatment plans, including short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
• Provide excellent 1:1 care for your patients, spending an average of 30 minutes with each person.
• Communicating the patient's speech therapy program to family and/or guardian.
• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery.
• Medical specialties at the clinic include pediatrics, and ortho.
• Pediatrics and Adults patient caseload; 90% Peds and 10% Adults.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) a must
• Speech-Language Pathologist License from the state of Maryland
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required
• ASHA Certification
• Pediatrics experience a must
• Must have experience treating autism and articulation cases
