A stable and scaling eCommerce brand that has been ranked year over year as Best Workplace in Chicago is growing their product matching department. They are looking for Senior Fullstack Engineers that can hit the ground running with Java, Springboot and React. This role is local to Chicago, with a very relaxed hybrid environment. It may be in office once per month up to 8 times per month.

In this role, the Senior Fullstack Engineer will leverage Java, Springboot, React, Kubernetes, Databricks, and AWS services to build a brand new web based workstation to be used by Data Engineers and Machine Learning Engineers. The role will involve cross-collaboration across teams, so communication and collaboration skills are a must. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or another related field
• 5 years of Professional experience building scalable software with Java and Springboot
• 2 years of significant React experience, 40-50% of the time
• Must be able to hit the ground running in both Java and React
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Strong communication skills
• Have an ownership mindset
• An interest in Artificial Intelligence and Data

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS
• Databricks and Kubernetes experience would be a plus
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging services
