Motion Recruitment is Hiring an Accounts Payable Coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA
Our client, the world's leading music company, is looking to hire a Accounts Payable Coordinator join their team in Woodland Hills, CA! We are currently seeking an AP Coordinator in the Financial Operations group responsible for submitting rush payments, answering AP related questions and other duties.
*This is a 3-month contract to start with the opportunity to extend or convert*
*Hybrid in Woodland Hills, CA*
Responsibilities
- Prepares and processes payments accurately and on time for amounts owed by the company.
- Reviews and verifies all purchase orders, statements, and invoices needed to prepare payments.
- Audit and submit rush payments on daily basis
- Maintain rush tracker which is shared with offshore AP team
- Reconciles bills and balances accounts. Identifies and resolves any discrepancies to an account.
- Tracks all payment and transaction records using applicable systems.
- May maintain vendor files.
- Reports to Account Supervisor or Account Manager.
- Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- Excellent Excel skills, Microsoft Word, and Outlook skills
- Some SAP and previous experience with a procurement system is a plus
