Our client, a leading Biotechnology Company is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team in Cambridge, MA!

**This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits** (contract-to-hire)

As the Laboratory Technician, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot server and non-desktop computer hardware, lab instruments, lab equipment, software, systems, and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical skill and judgment to assist in technical support for computer/data center operations
• Maintain access control, data integrity, and file system security for the computer/data center environment
• Recommends process, hardware, and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades, to improve computer/data center efficiency
• May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects
• Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

Desired Skills:

• 4 year of experience with an Associate Degree related to STEM or 2 years of experience with BS/BA
• Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Word, etc
• Lab instrument or equipment experience
• Prior experience with ServiceNow & AD (Active Directory)
• Customer service oriented
