Our client, a leading financial software company is hiring a Credit/Collections Officer to join their team in Plano, TX!

**This is a 3-month W2 contract with benefits & paid holidays**

The Credit/Collections Officer will be joining the Payment Solutions Department and be responsible for answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to clients who are past due on their accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Recover company losses by obtaining payments from delinquent clients
• Set up payment plans based on budget information provided by clients, and calculate the amount a client can afford to pay each month based on that budget
• Look over account history and identify any past problems or potential future problems when setting up payments or discussing a settlement
• Request that each client make their due payment or make arrangements to begin paying off the delinquent account

Desired Skills:

• Highschool Diploma/GED
• Prior collections experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Ability to deal with customer issues and attitudes
