Motion Recruitment is Hiring a QA Automation Engineer Near New York, NY
Pay rate: $55 to $70/hour depending on experience.
This is a 1-year contract that may or may not convert to full time afterwards.

Following a recent acquisition that quadrupled the company's size, our client is undergoing significant expansion and integration efforts, particularly within their QA team.
We are seeking two senior-level QA Automation Engineers for a 1-year contract to join this expanding team. This role is 100% automation-focused, requiring individuals who can independently establish a web framework. The main project involves discarding outdated automation scripts to create new, efficient ones from scratch. Candidates must be proficient in Java, Selenium, and C#, and be capable of working autonomously to drive the automation process forward. The engineers will be crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of the front-end platform while collaborating with the team to integrate data from the recent acquisition. There is a possibility that this contract may convert to a permanent position, but it is not guaranteed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and C#
- Experience in creating and implementing automation frameworks
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts from scratch
- Discard outdated scripts and improve overall efficiency
- Ensure the quality and performance of the front-end platform
