Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Houston, TX 77077 (on-site work schedule, Mon-Fri, flexible in/out times)

Duration: 6-to-9-month contract opportunity with possibility of contract extension

Compensation: $55 - $65/hr W2

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SAP ABAP Developer to join our client’s IT team in Houston. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your ABAP expertise to develop and enhance custom applications within the SAP ecosystem, directly impacting critical business operations and driving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Custom Applications: Design, code, and implement custom ABAP applications tailored to the unique needs of the business.
• Enhance SAP Functionality: Modify standard SAP programs using user exits, BADIs, and other enhancement techniques to optimize business processes.
• Data Migration and Integration: Utilize tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and RFCs to facilitate data migration and integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Report Development: Create and maintain complex reports using ABAP, providing key insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of technical experience as an ABAP developer.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Functional Expertise: Strong functional understanding of FI, MM, and SD areas, especially in finance, accounting, and pricing.
• Technical Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with SAP development using ABAP concepts, including:
