A national health insurance provider is looking for a data scientist to join their analytics group. The bulk of the work in this position will involve assessing large-scale population health data to create custom health plans & drive better health outcomes for individuals. You will be analyzing past claims & health outcome data & predicting future outcomes, developing models, and assessing potential scenarios for best coverage. A small part of this role may also involve assessing new health products & their potential impact on outcomes.
This is a full-time opportunity to join one of the largest, most stable health insurance networks in the US, and work with a premier team to assess health & pricing outcomes for large populations.
Hybrid 2x/week In Dallas, Texas Required Skills & Experience

• 6 Years of Data Science
• Model Building
• Regressions
• Predictive Analysis
• Statistical Analysis
• At least one programming language (ex. Python, R)
• Experience with large-scale health or health insurance claims data

Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant degree (Data science, computer science, etc)
• Experience within a large health insurance provider analyzing claims data
