Senior Network Engineer

6 Month contract to hire (Likely to extend or convert to FT)

Majority Remote, requires travel to office in LaGrange about 1-2x’s a month

Must live in Georgia or Alabama

Qualifications

Responsible for performance, monitoring, and security of networks

Designs, builds, and maintains network infrastructure

Ensures currency of patches

Recommend, design and implement improvements

Test and improve disaster recovery/failover processes

Advanced level knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6

5 years experience in an advanced network role

CCNA certification strongly preferred

Devices are Cisco and Meraki, Cisco IOS knowledge is required.

Ability to script network behaviors

Responsibility for network covers 12 sites across North America, Britain and Belgium

Some regular though infrequent international and domestic travel will be required

Work location is primarily remote though approximately monthly in-person attendance will be required as well as whenever a specific project requires it.
