Our client, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, is actively hiring an IT Systems Engineer to join their team onsite in Normal, IL!

*This is a 6 month W2 contract with benefits!*

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless operations of their IT systems. You will assist with SOP Documentation and the architectural design for the team while also responding to any system emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere or Open Source Hypervisors (KVM)
• Design, configure, and maintain SAN fabric on Cisco MDS switches
• Develop Ansible playbooks and roles to automate routine tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-8 years of experience
• Proficiency in VMware
