Our Client is seeking anexperienced and detailoriented Auto Body Estimator to join theirteam. The Auto Body Estimator will be responsible for evaluatingdamaged vehicles and preparing accurate repair estimates ensuringthat all repairs are performed to the highest standards and incompliance with insurance guidelines.

The successful candidate musthave excellent customer service skills a thorough understanding ofauto body repair processes and the ability to work in a fastpacedenvironment.

Responsibilities :

• Greetcustomers and conduct a thorough inspection of their vehicle toidentify all damage
• Prepare accuraterepair estimates using computerized estimating software ensuringthat all repairs are in compliance with insuranceguidelines
• Communicate withinsurance adjusters to ensure that estimates are approved in atimely manner
• Order parts andschedule repairs ensuring that all repairs are completed on timeand within budget
• Keep customersinformed throughout the repair process answering any questions theymay have and addressing anyconcerns
• Conduct quality checks toensure that all repairs meet the highest standards including properfit and finish paint color match and that all mechanical componentsare working as designed
• Review andanalyze repair orders to ensure that all work performed isdocumented accurately
• Maintain aclean and organized work area and properly dispose of hazardousmaterials

Requirements

Qualifications :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Minimumof 2 years of experience as an auto bodyestimator
• Thorough understanding ofauto body repair processes and insuranceguidelines
• Ability to read andinterpret technical manuals andschematics
• Excellent customerservice skills and the ability to communicate effectively withcustomers and insuranceadjusters
• Good organizational skillsand attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple taskssimultaneously
• Proficiency incomputerized estimatingsoftware
• Valid driverslicense

Certifications :

ICAR(InterIndustry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) certificationin Estimating is aplus
