What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute position at Mount Juliet Christian Academy Llc?
Teaching:Provide instruction to students in small and large groups, following the regular teacher's provided lesson plan
Classroom management:Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment
Student supervision:Ensure the safety of students during class and supervise them outside of class
Record keeping:Take attendance, grade assignments, and record marksas required
Communication:Leave feedback for the regular teacher as requested
Non-teaching duties:Assist with lunch, recess, study hall, or other non-teaching duties as requested
Emergency protocols:Be familiar with the school's emergency protocols, such as fire drills
Applicants need to meet the following qualifications:
Education:High School diploma (college degree preferred)
License:A valid teaching certificate is not required but pay will be increased if presented
Background check:A criminal background check and fingerprinting (in PreK) to verify your employment history, references, and criminal record
