Job Title: Technology Site Support Specialist

Calendar: C, 190 Contract Days

ESP Salary Schedule: Range 70 Step 1Hours: 8/Day 40/Week

General Purpose

Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing technology equipment, supervising the computer lab(s), and facilitating computer-based testing.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair technology equipment, supervise the computer lab(s), and facilitate computer-based testing.
• Work closely with District techs with technical issues that arise.
• Attend PD trainings as required by the district for training in new technology procedures.
• Ensure computer labs are ready for student use including curriculum block assessments and end-of-level assessments.
• Create and track work orders and maintain an inventory of equipment. 
• Set up and enter data on students and teachers to enable groups to use software, and update and track work orders.
• Manage 3 computer labs; 11 chrome carts, with each cart having 36 Chromebooks; 1- iPad cart with 30 iPads.
• Enroll and set up Chromebooks and chrome carts. 
• Work with various companies to order replacement parts or to get quotes on supplies needed for school technology. 
• Work with turning technologies support desk on issues with interwrite boards. 
• Order ink cartridges.
• Supervise classes, while teachers have their hour prep time each day. 
• Assist students with the software they are using for the curriculum. 
• Print any school posters that are needed.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One (1) year of related experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• The job occasionally requires light physical exertion including walking, standing, motor vehicle operation and other forms of light physical activity.
