Mount Saint Mary Academy is seeking a High School Science Teacher with experience teaching Biology and Forensic Science. The candidate should have an enthusiasm for science and the ability to teach a range of science courses. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching a full-time courseload, participating in curriculum development, and running a science-related club. The candidate should also possess an openness to contribute to the school community outside of the classroom.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Master of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, or related field is preferred.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience at a high school or college level is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and to communicate with students and parents.
- Experience teaching AP science classes is a plus.
