Details of Research Project:
Perform evaluation and experiments with novel catheter and ablation tools. This will include radiofrequency and pulsed field ablation assessment on swine and sheep. This will include acute and chronic experiments with or without infarctions.
Responsibilities
Technical Duties: (include any protocols)
To perform preclinical research in the animal lab- this includes surgical and percutaneous access and mapping. The fellow will also be responsible for mapping and ensuring operation of software and imaging. Collection of data, protocol submission and manuscript writing and submission.
Qualifications
Educational and other Requirements for the position: Medical Degree, Cardiology training
Experience Required: Training in internal medicine and Cardiology
Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project:
Publish and complete evaluation of catheters and aforementioned experiments
