Title: Postdoctoral Fellow

The Brown Laboratory is seeking highly motivated postdocs to lead projects aimed at identifying regulators of tumor immunity and cancer immunotherapy resistance with the overarching goal of developing new therapeutic approaches for cancer treatment. The studies will utilize state-of-the-art technologies for investigations into tumor biology and immunology, including single cell and spatial multi-omics and our first-of-its-kind spatial CRISPR genomics platform, Perturb-map (Dhainaut, Rose et al. Cell 2022). The fellow will also have the opportunity to utilize other technologies being developed in the lab, including lipid nanoparticle (LNP) and mRNA drugs and armed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells.
Responsibilities
Technical Duties: (include any protocols)
  • Perform independent research in the area of tumor immunity and cancer immunotherapy
  • Critically analyze data quality and results, communicate results to scientists and lay people
  • Write or assist in writing scientific papers and grants
  • Collaborate closely with other scientists to conduct research
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. required
  • Experience working in a research laboratory setting
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the ISMMS and the Sinai Postdoctoral Organizing Committee - UAW.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $72,500.00 - $80,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
