Job Summary:
We are a friendly, family oriented optometrist's office located in a professional medical building in the heart of Mount Vernon. We are seeking a reliable, organized individual who enjoys working with people to join our team and grow with us. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance and submit claims
- Assist customers with the selection of fashion eyewear
- Handle incoming and outgoing packages
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in sales is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
