Job Summary To provide support for the operations of the Governance & Regulatory Risk team and ensure all functions are completed accurately and on time. Monitor and analyze both governance related programs and regulatory related functions. Provide regulatory interpretation for new and existing regulations to affected business units within the credit union. Assists with fair lending and risk assessment creation when needed. Job Description LOCATION Mountain America Center - Hybrid: 9800 S Monroe St Sandy, UT 84070 SCHEDULE Full Time To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
Serves as regulatory liaison for project management, researching and identifying regulatory and policy risks associated with new products, processes, and projects.
Analyzes new and changing regulations for organizational impact, providing stakeholders with tools and resources for updating procedures and implementing changes.
Aids in the administration of change management processes, ensuring policy and regulatory requirements are addressed and appropriate stakeholders are notified.
Drafts detailed reports on various regulatory topics and their impact on the organization, including supervisory priorities, policy statements, proposed rules, and enforcement actions.
Maintains internal operating policies, programs, and procedures, with periodic reviews to ensure regulatory and policy requirements are adequately addressed.
Assists in the performance of regulatory risk assessments, comparing processes with regulatory requirements, determining control adequacy and effectiveness.
Assists in the performance of the Fair Lending program as needed.
Perform gap analysis for credit union policies and program procedures, working cross-functionally to address and remediate gaps.
Contributes to the implementation and enhancement of governance programs, including making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Researches regulatory requirements and industry best practices to provide answers and solutions to regulatory questions and concerns.
Performs other duties as assigned.

2 years of similar or related experience in lending or compliance within the financial industry
Working knowledge of regulations, including, but not limited to: Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. Z, RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, FCRA, and CARD Act
Education
Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
