Overview:

We’re seeking an experienced operational manager to oversee our day-to-day operational teams consisting of customer service, scheduling, warehouse, delivery and installation teams. This role manages staff training, safety programs, and the company fleet. You will develop, implement, and enforce policies that ensure the safety and efficiency of the warehouse, create staff schedules, discipline staff if necessary. The ideal candidate has a business-related bachelor’s or master’s degree, has worked in a management position in a busy warehouse environment, can quickly switch gears to handle a range of duties. NetSuite experience is a plus. This position reports directly to the President. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor employee activities and provide guidance where needed

• Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees

• Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with all safety policies

• Create and send reports to the President

• Coordinate staff schedules, training, and onboarding

• Conduct quality control tests to ensure organization standards are being met

• Creating long-term plans and initiatives to accomplish company goals efficiently

• Coordinating with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts

• Analyzing budgets to minimize expenses without sacrificing profits

• Developing and implementing strategies to keep employees motivated and dedicated

• Creating presentations and communicating with executives about plans and strategies

• Identifying problems and coming up with effective solutions quickly

• Monitoring changing market conditions and adjusting strategies accordingly

• Conducting interviews with prospective candidates

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Skills:

• Problem-solving abilities that adapt to a variety of situations

• Overseeing day-to-day activities in the facility

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficiency with NetSuite platform

• Bachelor’s degree in business, business management or an MBA

• Five years of experience in a management position

• Analytical skills

• Ability to identify opportunities

• Ability to build relationships with partners and other organizations
