Job Description Summary

  • Skilled utility person for rock quarry plant responsible for shoveling, lubrication, clean-up, plant maintenance and repair including welding and cutting. Ability to safely operate heavy equipment. Skid steer, mini excavator, haul truck and loader.

Requirements

  • Must be able to shovel and clean belts
  • Ability to change belt rollers
  • Ability to make plant repairs
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Heavy lifting
  • Must be willing to work different shifts and overtime as assigned and needed
  • Any other tasks as assigned by management

Preferences

  • Ability to cut with torch and weld
  • Ability to run skidsteer, loaders and excavators a plus
  • Experience working around a processing plant

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Must have experience changing belt rollers
  • Must have experience making belt splices
  • Must have plant repair experience
