Job Description
As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during your shift. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing customer satisfaction, maintaining high standards of food quality, and a clean and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise Staff: Oversee the daily activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality service.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to prevent shortages and overages.
• Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Training: Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain consistency and quality.
• Quality Control: Ensure all food items are prepared to the highest standards and served in a timely manner.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash register operations, reconcile daily receipts, and prepare bank deposits.
• Health & Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the food service industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Familiarity with kitchen operations, customer service standards, and handling busy shifts.
• Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with POS systems, food safety regulations, and inventory management.
• Problem Solving: Ability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and implement solutions under pressure.
• Attitude: Positive attitude, team player, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Availability: Must be reliable and dependable. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
