Educational Data Systems Manager
Mission: Mountain Song Community School, as a member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education, is a public charter school that utilizes developmentally appropriate holistic education to nurture the body, mind, and heart of each student.
Position Summary: The Educational Data Systems Manager will be primarily responsible for managing Infinite Campus (IC), completing state reporting submissions, coordinating state and interim student assessments, analyzing and communicating student assessment data, maintaining the software and computers used in student assessments, monitoring and reporting on student attendance, implementing steps to improve student attendance according to policy, and creating and supporting teachers with report cards in IC.

Position Status: Full Time, Exempt
Salary: 40,000-50,000 depending on experience and education
Essential Duties:
School Operational Systems
- Build, maintain, and train staff on the school’s student information system, Infinite Campus (IC)
- Ensure yearly calendars are developed and built prior to school year start
- Ensure alignment with state codes in behavior, course, standards, special education fields, and all state reportable fields are accurate in IC.
- Assign staff to courses and roster students in classes in IC. Ensure student information and contact information is accurate.
- Meet regularly with IC representatives about system updates and training opportunities.
- Work with the front office staff to manage other school accounts including Zoom, Pearson, Amazon, Apple, etc.
- Work with the front office staff to help maintain the operation of school computers and printers.
- Act as a support person for staff members experiencing issues with online programs.
- Work with technology consultants to help maintain the Mountain Song webpage.
Student Assessment
- Coordinates all state required testing (i.e., CMAS, ACCESS, TS Gold, CoAlt) training, ordering, scheduling, reporting, and implementation
- Coordinates all interim assessments (i.e., MAP, DIBELS 8) testing oversight, training, and implementation
- Collects and submits Kindergarten Readiness and READ Act assessment data/reports to CSI
- Creates and submits yearly assessment plans and calendars to CSI and share with faculty and parents
- Sets up and maintains testing software on school computers (i.e., MAP, ACCESS, CoAlt), and students information in testing platforms (e.g., Pearson, DLM, Amplify, NWEA MAP, WIDA, KITE, etc.)
- Provides student assessment data analysis to the Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, Teacher Leadership Council, Family Engagement Committee, or other groups as needed.
- Assists in the administration of state and/or interim assessments
Attendance
- Record, monitor, and report attendance
- Work with individual student teams to determine intervention strategies to support students/families struggling with attendance issues
Report Cards
- Create and modify courses, score groups, grading tasks, and standards in IC related to quarterly report cards.
- Train staff, especially new staff, about how to access and navigate grade reports in IC.
- Review, print, and distribute report cards (quarterly) along with progress reports, attendance letters, and end of year narrative reports.
CSI Submissions and State Reporting
- Communicate closely with CSI staff regarding training opportunities for school submissions, calendars for school submissions, and the handbook for school submissions
- In coordination with appropriate staff members throughout the building and the ELT, complete all state submissions including October Count, December Count, HR, Discipline, Sped, EOY, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Commitment to public Waldorf education
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other staff members
- Bachelor of Arts in related field or previous job experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a school setting
- Preferred experience working with common data systems and online platforms
- Ability to bring projects to completion
- Ability to multitask
- Detailed and effective organizational skills
- Accurately, neatly, and effectively prepares and presents data
- Proven excellent customer service skills
- Ability to articulate the school’s mission and vision

Working with youth may require exposure to bacterial contamination.
