Requirements For a Senior AccountantIn this full-time position, you will operate in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and occasionally lift and move office products or supplies. The following are required to assist in the duties performed by a Underwriter I:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Two years’ accounting experience in property and casualty or SSAP accounting or four years’ experience in a combination of property and casualty accounting, SSAP accounting or other accounting practices.
- Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree in accounting.
- Knowledge or experience in company systems.
- CPA, CMA or CIA certification.
- Four years’ general ledger accounting experience.
