Mountaintop’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Position Summary: Mountaintop Golf and Lake Club is currently seeking Dish Steward Candidates to assist culinarians with upkeep and basic sanitation of the dishware, floors, food surfaces and equipment of the clubhouse kitchens.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities that may otherwise be assigned.

  • Proper ware washing and care of dish ware and equipment. 
  • Floor sweeping and mopping.
  • Preparation and cleaning of the staff cafeteria. 
  • Assist in food prep.
  • Proper storage of cookware and dish ware.
  • Disposal of trash to dumpster.
  • Maintain cleanliness in upper kitchen, lower kitchen, food service hallways, walk-ins, storage areas and equipment.
  • Oversees sanitation of station in compliance with local health department standards. 
  • Completion of any other tasks deemed necessary by the culinary management. 
  • Assist in unloading and properly storing deliveries.
  • Expected seasonal job length is April through November. Dish Steward staff are expected to work 40 hours per week, with overtime being paid after 40 worked hours. We are a 7 day a week operation from the first weekend in May until October 31st, with limited hours through December.

  • Frequency of pay is Bi-weekly
  • Mountaintop provides our employees with a free lunch/dinner, with a 30-minute nonpaid lunch/dinner break.
  • Uniforms will be provided. Employees are expected to keep their uniforms clean and in good condition. Damaged uniforms will be replaced.
  • Seasonal employees are not entitled to vacation time, holiday pay, health insurance or our 401k plan.
  • Employee Housing is available for qualifying positions.
