Under the guidance of the Director of Case Management, manages the Case Management/Utilization Review Department, Case Managers, Social Worker, and Utilization Management. While carrying a small case load this case management manager will take responsibility for providing aid and assistance to case managers on a daily basis in patient outcomes, correct timely assessments, concurrent review and general case management. Leads the Department when the Director is not present.
Education:
Required: Graduate of an approved or accredited school of nursing.
Experience:
Required: A minimum of two years acute care hospital Case Management / UM experience.
Licenses/Certificates:
Required: Current licensure in professional nursing from the New Mexico State Board of Nursing or compact RN license
