Primary Purpose

Responsible for transferring hatching eggs from farm racks to incubator racks and placing them in incubators per the egg set schedule.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Transfer hatching eggs from farm racks to incubator racks per the egg set schedule.
• Clean and disinfect egg rooms and incubator rooms.
• Set eggs from egg room into incubation equipment.
• Monitor condition of farm racks - flag any farm rack(s) in need of repair and place in farm rack repair area.
• Assist egg delivery drivers with unloading farm racks containing hatching eggs from trailer as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year working with live poultry.
• Basic math skills.
• Completion of all safety training, lockout-tagout and pallet jack certification.
