Job DescriptionPrimary PurposeThe Regional Wastewater Manager will provide overall direction and support/guidance to ensure environmental compliance at all wastewater and water facilities. He/She will oversee or complete all environmental reporting associated with the wastewater and water facilities in addition to construction, operations, maintenance and laboratory activities. He/She will manage the Wastewater, the Water Operations, and Treatment Managers.

- Provides overall direction to assigned wastewater and water facilities including, but not limited to, operations, maintenance, quality, laboratory and reporting duties (internal and external (regulatory)). Ensures regulatory compliance with environmental programs.
- Liaison between wastewater, water, environmental and engineering to manage projects and achieve deadlines.
- Complete, review and submit regulatory and compliance reporting for water and wastewater facilities.
- Manage and train wastewater and water facility employees.
- Ensure policies and procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance programs. Always work within safety guidelines.
- BS in Environmental Science or related field or comparable work experience.
- 10-15 years' relevant work experience.
- Wastewater Level IV License or comparable Water Treatment License with required endorsements.
- Full understanding of Federal, State and Local regulations pertaining to wastewater and water plant operations and permits.
