Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional who is a quick learner and is able to operate independently. This candidate should be able to perform routine accounting functions: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processes, and maintenance of general ledger.

Essential Functions & Competencies:

• Perform routine accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, and Payroll.
• Process all functions, processes and reporting for Accounts Payable as well as review codes and verifies transactions for all payments and checks processed, for refunds, rents, vendor payments.
• Process semi-monthly payroll and manual checks for terminations and any other additional payroll check requests as needed.
• Publish payroll reports, review payroll records quarterly and at year-end, prepare payroll quarterly and yearly reconciliations including tax payments.
• 401K & HSA Contribution reconciliation
• Manage Accounts Receivable, daily deposits, EFT and credit card processes,, checks and reviews all postings.
• Cash flow: EFT downloads and deposits and updating cash flow spreadsheet.
• Download daily all EFT and EOB and save files for Billing.
• Assist clinic staff with questions or requests regarding revenue, voiding credit card payments, and refunding credit card payments.
• Retrieving Explanation of Benefits for EFT payment batches.
• Perform additional Projects and Tasks for the Accounting Department as needed.
• Can complete moderately complex calculations
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Expected to gain and attain full proficiency in all routine accounting functions
• Accurate, conscientious and detail oriented
• Ability to meet required deadlines
