Responsibilities(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):
- Designs, develops, and maintains backend services and APIs using languages such as C#, TypeScript, JavaScript (NodeJS), Java, or Python
- Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Implements security protocols and data protection measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems
- Implements APIs and integrate with third-party services as needed
- Creates and maintains technical documentation and metadata
- Proactively triages operational alarms, exceptions, and failures while seeking the root cause, communicating with the right parties, and contributing to the resolution.
- Identifies areas for improvements and recommend solutions
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and customers to discover needs and define business requirements and goals
- Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders across the organization, communicating insights, findings and recommendations
- Participates in the development and implementation of best practices, policies and procedures
- 3 years of experience in software engineering, or related field
- Proficiency and experience in multiple programming languages such as such as C#, TypeScript, JavaScript (NodeJS), Java, or Python
- Knowledge of backend frameworks and technologies such as .NET Core, Django, Flask, Spring, and GraphQL
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with distributed systems, parallel processing, microservices, caching, serverless and containerization technologies
- Experience with SQL and integrating backends and APIs with relational database servers including Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, or NoSQL servers such as MongoDB and Redis, preferably in a cloud environment
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with modern source control, test automation and CI/CD tools and practices
- Experience managing infrastructure projects.
- Experience with API design and development
- Experience with statistical analysis and problem solving techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Be someone who stays up to date with emerging technologies and best practices
$80,340.00 - $126,593.00
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
