Our client is a leading OEM manufacturer of urological and gynecological instruments.

Responsibilities:

 Plan and execute engineering projects that might involve customer resources by setting deadlines, managing engineering team resources and prioritizing initiatives.

 Facilitate and improve the Engineering Funnel Management Process.

 Direct the development and implementation of numerous process-oriented engineering solutions.

 Responsible for the development, design, validation and documentation of production/metrology equipment.

 Responsible to ensure the proper implementation of all engineering solutions into the production space (including review of all supporting documentation) in a timely manner to ensure solutions make it to the production floor.

 Estimate as well as determine actual savings and benefits from tooling solutions and processes implemented into production.

 Create and manage advanced software applications utilizing image processing and other tools to aid in the assembly/refurbishing of the company’s products.

 Develop and manage the company’s Windows-based custom software library using C and Python software languages, Visual Studio and Git.

 Collaborate with the IT department to ensure smooth and secure implementation of custom software solutions.

 Manage and curate the team’s source code repositories, CAD vault/workflow and project management software.

 Organize and promote the corporate Measurement and Alignment Systems Technology (MAST) Team meetings and the corporate R&D for Reparability conference calls.

 Research and implementation of new technologies into manufacturing processes.

 Develop automated solutions for manual/labor-intensive processes.

 Support technology transfer from the corporate R&D team for new products and offer technological solutions/product design changes to improve future manufacturability.

 Support Manufacturing Management.

 Support Planning and Purchasing of Production Equipment.

 Support manufacturing adherence to FDA / GMP guidelines.

 Support adherence to applicable safety regulations.

 Support planning and purchasing of tools, fixtures and manufacturing equipment.

 Support training of operators on new equipment and methods.

 Participation in process planning for manufacturing.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of current manufacturing concepts with a thorough grasp on modern technology. Thorough CAD experience is a necessity. Solid software and computer programming experience is required. Project management and leadership skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Must be an excellent communicator, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Must be a team player. Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.

BS in Engineering, Master preferred.
