Job Description: As the EH&S Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) programs within our manufacturing facility in Reno, NV. You will collaborate with various departments to develop, implement, and maintain effective EH&S policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EH&S policies, procedures, and programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and promote continuous improvement.
• Provide EH&S training to employees, supervisors, and managers to enhance awareness and promote a safety culture.
• Manage waste disposal and pollution control activities to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with EH&S regulations and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements to EH&S programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EH&S considerations into business operations and decision-making processes.
• Drive initiatives to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, minimize environmental risks, and enhance overall EH&S performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EH&S management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EH&S regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Experience developing and implementing EH&S programs and training initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
