Starting pay for this position is $35.73/hr. ~ $41.28/hr. depending on education and experience.
Mower County provides 13 paid holidays and a minimum of 20 Days Paid Time Off per year as well as an excellent health benefit package for full-time positions.

Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; 1-year related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nature of Work:
This position is responsible for performing professional public health and nursing functions in support of one or more specialized public health programs or functions. Responsibilities may include developing, implementing and maintaining health programs and initiatives; managing medical records and related systems; providing health education for students, families, and employees; conducting home visits to deliver and monitor health treatments; conducting health evaluations; and monitoring client progress.
Essential Work Functions (Illustrative only):
1.
Performs diagnosis and nursing assessments for individuals, families, or communities; determines health issues; provide case management; makes referrals to community resources; and performs interventions.
2.
Coordinate and conduct public clinics to educate, treat, screen, and prevent health concerns.
3.
Investigate community health threats and providing community education.
4.
Prepares and maintains a variety of records for services rendered and case histories; prepares outcome reports or statistical reports; disseminates to appropriate staff; ensures compliance with applicable protocols.
5.
Consults and collaborates with medical providers to educate, promote and protect public health through program planning, trainings, and orientations; participates in emergency preparedness planning for public health threats.
6.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
