MOZAIK HOLDINGS LLC is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Saint George, UT

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Estimator is our master planner of all upcoming projects. This driven individual is responsible for building quotes, researching products and pricing, and organizing data for maximum efficiency in project management. Main responsibilities include material footage estimation, product research, quote assembly, and ensuring project costs are accurate. Each Project Estimator undergoes a minimum of 3 months training as a Project Management Assistant to develop the necessary skills in our software and learn the flooring industry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Uses estimating software to draw projects of various scale and scope
  • Assesses material needs for projects and calculates accurate material quantities
  • Evaluates labor need for project and quotes accurate labor costs
  • Research new products including pricing, packaging, and associated materials
  • Ensures that all costs are accounted for within a project before quote is sent to customer
  • Continuous communication with vendors to confirm accurate pricing
  • Constructs quotes in a highly organized manner designed for efficient project execution
  • Writes detailed notes to help with installation and project execution
  • Other duties to support project management as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent work experience) or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in project coordination/management, sales support, customer service, and/or data entry preferred (experience in flooring industry is preferred but not required)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Professional demeanor and approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Must be comfortable meeting deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
